August issue of Socialist Worker out now

Socialist Worker front page | August 2016
The August issue of Socialist Worker is out now and available from ISO branches around the country.

The front cover of SW is about the epidemic of police murders and refers readers inside the paper to several articles, including “Why Black Lives Matter matters more than ever,” “Blue is not beautiful” and “Can the police be reformed?”

The back page feature, headlined "Can you vote for what you want in 2016?" is about what socialists say about this year's election, the Green Party campaign of Jill Stein and organizing for change beyond the elections. Other articles about Election 2016 include “We won’t be shamed into voting for Clinton,” “Is their Grand Old Party really over?” and “The Democrats pull their act together."

Also featured in this issue are excerpts from the plenary meeting at Socialism 2016 on “The fight for a socialist future,” featuring authors Sharon Smith and Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor.

You can read the articles in the current issue at the website. If you would like to order a subscription, you can find out how at the SW website.

You can also download a full-size pdf of the front page here.
