April issue of Socialist Worker out now

The April 2016 issue of Socialist Worker and the new issue of Obrero Socialista have arrived in ISO branches. The front-page headline of SW is “Trump and the system that spawned him.” It refers readers inside the paper to several articles on Election 2016, including “Who will be the lesser evil in 2016?” "Free trade, nationalism and the 2016 election” and "A comprehensive lie to immigrants."

The Chicago Teachers Union struggle, including organizing for the April 1 strike day, is featured on the back page. Other features in this issue include a look back at the immigrant rights mega-marches of 2006, analysis of the refugee crisis in Europe, reports on the Boston public school students walkout and the attack on free speech and the BDS movement, plus a socialist look at Robert Reich’s new book Saving Capitalism.

As usual, the Spanish-language Obrero Socialista comes with SW and features translations of articles on “Trump and the system that created him,” Syria, workers’ democracy and the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

You can read the articles in the current issue at the SocialistWorker.org website. If you would like to order a subscription, you can find out how at the Socialist Worker website.
