We are in the midst of an unprecedented climate catastrophe. Capitalism's relentless drive to exploit labor and pillage the earth has made life practically unlivable for millions of working class and oppressed people everywhere.
Building resistance to this crisis is central to being a socialist. Whether in Flint, Michigan or in Standing Rock, North Dakota, in Houston or in Puerto Rico, wherever the 1% puts vulnerable communities at risk, we have to take a stand for people over profit, and fight for a future in which human need is the highest priority.
